This role combines analytical, technical, and communication skills to ensure data quality, integrity, and traceability, as well as the efficiency of associated processes.The opportunity:· Process Mapping and Optimization: Document and improve organizational processes related to data governance, identifying efficiency opportunities.· Governance Strategy Implementation: Support the execution of strategic data governance initiatives with business leaders.· Documentation Management: Maintain up-to-date data dictionaries, information flows, and data sources.· Business Rule Definition: Facilitate the definition, documentation, and validation of business rules and data quality standards.· Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with data owners and stewards to ensure information accuracy, consistency, and security.· Continuous Improvement: Apply methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma to optimize processes and ensure continuous improvement.This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.What you need:· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related fields.· 1 to 3 years in roles related to organizational processes, data analysis, or data governance.· Technical Skillso Basic knowledge of SQL and databases.o Familiarity with technological tools applied to data management (Dataiku, Power BI, advanced Excel).o Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt) desirable.· Soft Skillso Excellent written and verbal communication skills.o Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.o Critical thinking and problem-solving orientation.o Adaptability to change and openness to new technologies.o Focus on the customer and data quality.· Key Competencieso Problem Solving: Diagnosing and resolving data quality issues.o Innovation and Adaptability: Flexibility in the face of technological and organizational changes.o Collaboration: Teamwork across business, IT, and analytics departments.o Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering value through reliable data.BenefitsEmployees receive eleven (11) paid holidays, two (2) weeks of paid vacation per year, and are eligible for health, dental, disability and life insurance.What we believe:We proudly embrace the values that have shaped UST since day one.
