This is where you can do your best work.Join us at the intersection of saving and sustaining lives— where your purpose accelerates our mission.Your role at Baxter:As an Assoc Scientist II, you will Build, develop, and maintain custom business applications integrating with other systems to streamline workflows and automate processes across R&D functions within a platform ecosystem. And will be responsible for assessing and understanding business processes and analyzing organization needs, crafting solutions and developing applications, processes and workflows using platform-based tools. Maintain, update, and support developed applications to ensure efficient performance.What you'll be doing:
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional application develop.
  • Creating user-friendly interfaces, data connections, formulas, and logic to meet specific business requirements.
  • Connecting applications to various data sources (e.g., SharePoint lists, Dynamics 365, SQL databases, and other external systems) to create automated workflows between different systems and applications.
  • Developed applications and automated workflows, offering consistent support and updates tailored to User requirements and continuous feedback mechanisms.
  • Creating comprehensive documentation for configuration management and developing user guides.
  • Offering training sessions to User groups for built software and collaborating with different business sectors to facilitate the growth of platforms.
What You'll Bring !
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical/medical device company.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and other platform-based tools (e.g., Microsoft SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse and Power BI; Tableau, generative AI).
  • Ability to work with data structures, relationships, and data transformations within Power Apps.
  • Understanding business processes and translating them into effective solutions.
  • Coding experience (optional) (e.g., in JavaScript) could be helpful to develop more sophisticated customization
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proven success working with multifunctional, global teams within and/or external to Baxter.
  • Strong project management and presentation skills
  • Ability to respond to customers in a timely manner
