- Experience optimizing landing pages for marketing campaigns
- Experience developing pages for split testing
- Ability to provide useful feedback to the design team
- Create custom WP themes from XD & Figma files, focusing on attention to detail
- Participate in the development and deployment of responsive WordPress websites & landing pages
- Use best practices to meet Core Web Vitals criteria and web standards
- Perform cross-browser, and functional tests on websites
- Customize existing themes and plugins to meet design requirements
- Provide status updates to managers and team members
Requirements
- Strong understanding of WordPress CMS & theme development
- 2+ years' experience in front-end development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript & jQuery
- Experience developing pixel-perfect, responsive WordPress websites from XD / Figma files
- Experience with debugging tools & Core Web Vitals
- Experience customizing features through WordPress child themes
- Experience with common WordPress builders (Guttenberg, Elementor, WP Bakery, DIVI, etc)
- Ability to work without supervision, and produce quality work
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers & managers
- Experience with RESTful APIs is a plus
- SEO experience is a plus
- Experience using code versioning tools is a plus
