**Our Team**
Catalina seeks to hire a Data Quality Analyst to analyze data, identify, and resolve data quality issues, and maintain high data quality standards.
They will use Python, SQL, and Databricks to integrate consumer and third-party data, create reports and dashboards to monitor data quality, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve data quality processes.
The role also involves managing data integrations, developing improvement plans for data sources, and fostering partnerships to align data quality priorities across the enterprise.
**Responsibilities**
- Analyze data to identify and quantify data quality issues and provide insights and recommendations to maintain high data quality standards.
- Utilize Python and Databricks to integrate consumer and 3rd party data, ensuring data accuracy and completeness, and resolving data quality issues.
- Create standard and customized reports and dashboards to monitor and report on data quality, completeness, and accuracy, providing insights to improve data quality processes.
- Utilize automation tools to cleanse consumer and 3rd party data, ensuring complete and accurate data sets are available for integration, and collaborate with data science and analytics teams to facilitate effective model development and analysis.
- Execute creating universal household IDs by leveraging data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency, to fuel audience and measurement solutions.
- Manage data integrations by defining data requirements, onboarding data sources, managing SLAs, logging data, and performing quality checks to ensure a seamless and high-quality client experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, leveraging analytical skills and technical expertise to maximize data quality and integrity.
- Develop a data operations maturity assessment plan for assigned data sources, evaluating the current state of third-party and client data onboarding and monitoring, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Foster strong partnerships and enhance collaboration with key stakeholders to align data quality priorities and promote effectiveness across the enterprise.
- Develop improvement plans for assigned data sources, including timelines and recommendations for needed tools, skills, and resources to improve data quality.
- Manage and execute improvement plans for assigned data sources, enhancing data monitoring, maximizing data usage, and optimizing data quality.
- Maintain detailed documentation, including project documents, workflows, processes, data dictionary, and technical specifications to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of data quality improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with Data Governance teams and stakeholders to ensure adherence to data policies and promote a culture of data-driven decision-making.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- At least 2 years of experience in data quality analysis, integration, and management.
- proficient in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis, with experience using Databricks for data integration and resolving data quality issues.
- working knowledge of data management platforms (DMPs) and related technologies, including ETL processes, Databricks, Azure, Snowflake, etc.
- Experience in developing standard and customized reports and dashboards to monitor and report on data quality, completeness, and accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills and technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Experience in creating and executing improvement plans for data quality, including identifying areas for improvement and recommending needed tools, skills, and resources.
- Experience in managing and executing improvement plans for assigned data sources to enhance data monitoring, maximize data usage, and optimize data quality.
- Ability to maintain detailed documentation and track data quality improvement efforts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong partnerships and enhance collaboration with key stakeholders across the enterprise.
