Responsabilidades / ResponsibilitiesThe Bridgestone Business Services Accounts Payable Supervisor with Portugues role is located in Heredia, Costa Rica. This advanced role is expected to lead the BBS CR Group; providing support to Accounts Payable Latin America Operation, focused on Argentina, Brazil and Chile Markets, managing transactional day-to-day operations and ensuring proper troubleshooting procedure regarding financial documents. Working in collaboration with Functional representatives, Corporate/Plant Procurement, Treasury & LSCM Groups, and Suppliers to support the continuous operation of the business in compliance with company policies and procedures (quality framework and J-SOX Audit Standards); addressing customer requirements and promoting continuous improvement methodology. The Accounts Payable Supervisor role is expected to manage teammates' administrative processes, talent review process, teammates’ development, performance’s objectives, and promote the Bridgestone culture.
This position will be key to migrate procurement operation to BBS1- Manage the teammates' administrative processes, talent review process, teammates’ development (coaching and mentoring process), performance objectives, and promote Bridgetone Culture.
2- Support and supervise execution of all related Accounts Payable Processes, ensuring uninterrupted supply and payments cycle.
3- Guide and manage Accounts Payable LA Group, addressing daily operation activities (end-to-end process), monthly deliverables, internal inquiries, escalations, troubleshooting cases, problems’ resolution and clients’ requirements.
4- Offer high standard quality services for internal and external clients.
5- Conduct implementation of standardized procedures, as well as support initiatives to increase efficiencies and drive continuous improvement.
6- Apply financial and operating controls in compliance with Financial Schedules, Code of Conduct, and internal procedures.
7- Manage, support and supervise corporate projects or initiatives in alignment with Management, promoting growth strategy and cost reduction.
8- Attend internal and external audit processes; in compliance with J-SOX Standard and Internal Risk Matrix.
9- Support and coordinate processes migration into Bridgestone Business Services according to Internal Framework and Standards.
10- Promote and support continuous improvement initiatives, well-being workplace and innovation culture across organization.Requisitos / Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistic or Engineering (Completed)
  • Yellow Belt or Green Belt
  • Experience in Project Management and Transformation Initiatives "Minimum of 3- 5 years’ experience in Accounts Payable and Financial Area.
  • Specialized Knowledge in Brazil Tax Regulation (Desirable).
  • Minium of 1 year experience supporting or leading Projects or Improvements Initiatives.
  • Demonstrated strength in leadership, strategy, interpersonal communications, continuos improvement methodology and critical thinking.
  • Problem solving; able to identify key issues and effectively coordinate efforts to achieve resolution
  • People Management (Talent Review and People Development)
  • Workforce Management Experience (Metrics, KPI's and Operational Targets)
  • "SAP and advanced excell knowledge (S4 HANA)
  • Ariba (Desirable)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products
  • Migration Framework Experience (Project Management Skills)
  • Data Analysis Framework"
  • English: B2 or B2+ - Advanced
  • Portugues: B2 or B2+ - Advanced
