POSITION SUMMARYThe GBS Enterprise Services T&E Payments Team Lead will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting leadership across MEET, Travel & Expense (T&E), and Corporate Card & Travel (CC&T) operations.The T&E Support Team Lead is responsible for overseeing critical operational workflows including Fuse ticket resolution, Concur balance clearing for leavers, and handling queries related to corporate card and travel processes, while driving investigations and recovery efforts focused on Audit gaps. This role ensures timely and compliant financial closure, supports audit and compliance teams in resolving discrepancies, and leads a high-performing team aligned with strategic initiatives to enhance risk assessment accuracy and operational efficiency.The T&E CoE is undergoing transformation; duties and responsibilities for this role may change up to 50%.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESSystem & Process Administration
  • Administer Concur balance clearing for leavers and ensure proper closure of accounts.
  • Investigate and recover gaps identified through Intelligent Audit.
  • Provide support for Fuse ticket resolution and handle internal/external queries.
  • Maintain strong controls environment and ensure adherence to compliance and financial controls.
  • Apply deep expertise in MEET T&E processes and process migration.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team with clear goals and accountability.
  • Deliver impactful presentations to upper management stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong stakeholder management and project leadership across functions.
  • Coordinate and manage multiple priorities with excellent organizational skills.
Technical & Analytical Skills
  • Operate effectively within global systems, leveraging SAP/Ariba/Citi Manager and other platforms.
  • Utilize advanced Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power platforms) for reporting and analysis.
  • Apply sound understanding of accounting principles and the financial cycle.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Typical Years of Experience: 3+ years (1+ years with MBA/MS) of experience in management, compliance, and customer focused operations with significant volumes and risk (incl. audit and/or finance experience)
  • 1-2 years of experience with T&E / MEET transaction processing preferred
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Proficiency in PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) required.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills required, any other language if required by the business
  • Previous experience with pharmaceutical companies is preferred
  • Portuguese (Desirable).

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS1. Systems & Tools Expertise
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Subject Matter Expert in ERP systems: SAP, ARIBA, MDGS, Oversight, Concur, Citi Manager, SNOW.
2. Finance & Compliance
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and expense reconciliation.
  • Strong grasp of risk assessment frameworks, internal controls, and compliance standards related to T&E and procurement.
  • Experience with accounting or compliance/audit transactions, preferably in a shared service with strong compliance controls
3. Leadership & Decision-Making
  • Leadership experience to train or develop others and bring innovative ideas to the team
  • Demonstrated ability to make timely, data-driven decisions that balance compliance, cost-efficiency, and user experience.
  • Skilled in delegating tasks effectively while maintaining accountability and team engagement.
4. Communication & Collaboration
  • Comfort with ambiguity, anticipates changes, and influences direction of innovative operational strategies
  • Assertive and clear communication style, with strong negotiation skills for managing escalations and interactions.
  • Proven ability to build strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Displays empathy and sound judgment in high-pressure or sensitive scenarios.
5. Project & Time Management
  • Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean Six Sigma) and portfolio prioritization.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills to handle escalations, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Results-oriented with a people-first mindset, balancing operational goals with employee experience.
