- Independently develops and maintains reports using tools such as SAP BusinessObjects, Microsoft Power BI, and Excel VBA.
- Conducts data validation and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.
- Leverages data analytics to uncover business insights and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders across value stream teams, engineering, sales, supply chain, finance, R&D, IT, and global management, including teams in Costa Rica.
- Promotes a continuous improvement mindset, working with leadership to drive data-led improvement initiatives.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
- Proficiency in programming at an intermediate to advanced level is required, along with hands-on experience in Power BI and DAX. Familiarity with SAP Business Objects is a strong asset. Experience with ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or comparable systems is also beneficial.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C, VBA, Java, SQL, or similar is considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly understand new business processes, identify key information flows, and uncover opportunities for improvement through solution development and implementation.
- Commitment to continuous learning, staying current with the latest process innovations and IT advancements to support system automation and modernization.
- Leadership in process optimization, including conducting ongoing reviews of business operations and formulating strategies for improvement.
- Foundational project management knowledge is expected; PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define supply chain business requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
- Utilize data analytics and visualization tools to design and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring deliverables align with functional requirements, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Strong foundational skills in analytical and conceptual thinking, enabling effective problem-solving and strategic planning.
- Proven ability to develop and implement solutions, with a consistent track record of delivering on commitments.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distill complex data into clear, concise insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is essential.
- Effective verbal and written communication in English is required.
- Successful completion of a background check, which may include verification of previous employment and educational credentials.
- 2-3 years of experience with business intelligence and analytics in business environment or related field.
- Bonus: Prior experience in Supply Chain, with an understanding of operational workflows, inventory management, and demand planning.
- Engineering degree in IT, industrial engineering, business administration, programming or similar.
