HFX iQ, Nevro’s latest innovation, is the first and only SCS System that uses Artificial Intelligence to optimize and maintain pain relief using each patient's response1.Nevro’s unique support services provide every patient with an HFX Coach™ throughout their pain relief journey and every physician with HFX Cloud™ insights for enhanced patient and practice management.Job Summary & ResponsibilitiesThe Production Supervisor position will directly be responsible for the production and line personnel and support the implementation of the site strategy for manufacturing to ensure the manufacture of high-quality products and to facilitate compliance with regulatory requirements.Role RequirementsThe duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Oversee operations efficiency and standardization in the production lines.
  • Directly responsible for the production and quality of the product, as well as line personnel.
  • Analyze and evaluate process improvements in order to reduce defects and scrap and/or improve yields.
  • Follow procedures established for each operation, and keep work areas organized and clean at all times.
  • Participate and/or lead problem-solving processes, whether due to increasing trends on complaints, defects, scrap, or low productivity, among others.
  • Monitors compliance within company policies and procedures (e.g., compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, or other regulations).
  • Comply with all safety and health regulations for the position and the direct reports.
  • Comply with all quality regulations for the position and the direct reports.
  • Ensure compliance of the organization's management systems to guarantee effectiveness and adherence to established policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Skills and KnowledgeEXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 3 -5+ years of experience minimum experience in the medical industry. 3 Years experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Experience analyzing and presenting detailed or advanced metrics using tools
  • Experience in internal and external audits regarding the Quality Management System
  • Demonstrated proficiency in manufacturing systems used to collect data and control/monitor processes.
  • Demonstrated capacity to effectively lead/influence peers and other functions towards organizational goals
  • Desirable at least one certification-related or applicable to the medical industry. For example, CQE, 6Sigma Green Belt and/or Black Belt, lean coach, problem-solving techniques, etc.

  • Flexible attitude and the ability to deal with changing assignments and priorities
  • Must be self-motivated and capable of working under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
  • Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; both written and verbal

  • Ability to plan and manage time effectively
  • Strong teamwork
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ISO and quality systems as FDA and OSHA requirements, as a plus
  • Intermediate level of English
