**BAT COSTA RICA** **IS LOOKING FOR A SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST**
**SENIORITY LEVEL**:Experienced - Non-Management Level
**FUNCTION**: DBS - GBS Finance

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**
**Reports to**:P&R Assistant Manager
**Reporting Level**:Junior Level
**Geographic Scope**:USA
**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Support the Merchandising and Retail Transformation team in the United States.
- Prepare and analyse recurring journal entries in support of month and quarter close activities.
- Support monthly reporting and analysis, month end close, forecasts and the annual planning process for non-branded expenditure.
- Perform variance analysis, including actual vs budget and year over year performance.
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities.
- Assist with the financial planning cycle including preparations and maintenance of data and schedules related to the planning cycle.
- Perform ad-hoc financial modelling (such as business cases) and analysis.
- Data Quality cleaning.
- Contribute to drive continuous improvement.
**CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?
**
- Do you have previous experience working in a Shared Services industry or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods environment?
- Do you have strong knowledge of finance and analytics?
**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Graduated with a bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or related fields.
- 3-4 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or related analytical field.
- Strong knowledge of finance and analytics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2+ / C1).
- High proficiency and detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Power Point.
- Individual with a high sense of urgency and work ethic.
- Ability to think strategically with strong business partnering skills.
- Excellent organization skills.
**BENEFICIAL**
- CPA, MBA, or Master of Accounting is a plus.
- Knowledge in Power BI or another analytics tool.
- Previous experience in SAP and in Planning & consolidation tool (BPC).
