End to end creation and care, including technical support, for VMWare Horizon View systems and base images.
Requires the ability to work independently to evaluate symptoms and provide recommendations to DXC internal teams, accounts, and customers.
Contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of industry best practices and standards for deploying enterprise solutions.
Gather root cause of complex issues involving end to end Hosted Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and ensure all team members are aware of the fix as well as write up root causes analyses and fixes for a central repository.
This position will require a meeting with Tier2/3, Imagers, AppStack, and Release Management to gather changes needed on the HVD Image and then work with all parties to ensure the changes are implemented in the required timeline.
**Required technical skills**:
Preferred Years of experience: 5+ years
- Ability to create thorough, complete, accurate documentation.
- VMWare View Admin & vSphere, ProU knowledge
- In-depth Windows OS & Application knowledge for both packaging & testing perspectives
- Troubleshooting 101 for both Image creation & testing perspective

- **VMware Certified Professional - Desktop and Mobility (Added Advantage)**:

- **VMware Certified Professional 6.5 - Data Center Virtualization (VCP6.5-DCV) (Added Advantage)**
