At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.Job OverviewAn operations manager is in charge of maximizing the processes of the different Value Streams on charge and guiding the different members of the organization.The main tasks of an operations manager are formulate strategies, create a culture of continuous improvement that guarantees maximum performance of the processes and ensuring that material and planning resources ensure compliance with the different performance indicators; within a dynamic, flexible and ethical environment, adhering to regulatory compliance of the Medical Industry.Job Requirements

-Ensure that the personnel adhere to the security guidelines established in the company procedures and policies.
-Ensure a safe environment -in which the lessons learned from security incidents at other sister plants are implemented- * Quality-Promote a culture of quality.
-Ensure that the operations team adhere to the procedures of their respective areas.
-Support different audits of clients and regulatory entities.
-Ensures compliance with BMPs and BPDs (Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices). * Production-Generate a respectful, dynamic, and challenging work environment.

-Ensure the behavior of the population under the ethical and regulatory guidelines of TE Connectivity.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Experience
  • Managerial experience
  • Professional/Technical title
  • Operations/Production managerial/professional staff senior supervisor 4 years experience
*Equivalency as superintendent or lead of professional staff
Note 60% work office and 40% Manufacturing Lines: • 36 months*
Education
  • Engineering Degree or proofed equivalency
  • Master degree is a desirable
Professional Training & Certifications
  • Six Sigma Green Belt
