Job Title IT Internship: Data Visualization and AnalysisJob DescriptionAs an IT Intern specializing in data visualization and analysis, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of data science. Your role will involve collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets to derive meaningful insights. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to create interactive dashboards that facilitate data-driven decision-making.ResponsibilitiesDashboard Creation and Visualization:

Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Transform raw data into visually appealing and informative charts, graphs, and tables.
Ensure that dashboards are user-friendly and accessible to non-technical stakeholders.

Data Collection and Processing:

Collect data from various sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets, etc.).
Clean, organize, and preprocess data to prepare it for analysis.
Write and execute SQL queries to retrieve relevant information.

Statistical Analysis:

Perform statistical analyses on datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Build predictive models (e.g., propensity models, attrition models) to support business decisions.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements.
Fine-tune reporting formats based on stakeholder feedback.
Translate complex data findings into actionable insights.

Continuous Learning:

Learn to work with various analytics platforms and tools.
Explore techniques for search engine optimization (SEO) and website analytics.

Qualifications

Education: Pursuing (last year of education) or completed a relevant degree in fields such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Business Analytics (bachelor’s level).
Skills:

Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel.
Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Basic knowledge of SAS is a plus.
Experience:

Willingness to work on routine data reporting tasks.
Exposure to data collection, organization, and analysis.
Familiarity with SEO concepts and website metrics.
