Sr Indirect Buying Desk Analyst

**Key responsibilities**
- Execute on one-time or low complexity sourcing requests as part of the Procurement Excellence Buying Desk
- Gather and analyze data using procurement spend analytics tools
- Work with Market Intelligence team to research and identify potential suppliers for sourcing requests
- Perform basic cost and scenario analysis to analyze supplier bids
- Research potential vendors, develop and execute RFx.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation is translated to RFP and contracts as appropriate
- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing delivering with suppliers and record annual P&L savings
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sourcing team members on category-specific requirements
**Functional & technical skills**
- Experience with sourcing process, vendor management, contract negotiations and procure to pay operations
- Expertise in sourcing tools (e-sourcing, spend analytics, ERP, supplier management software)
- Negotiation skills - will need to solicit bids and negotiate purchases directly with suppliers
- Breadth of experience across Indirect Sourcing categories

- Agility and flexibility to develop expertise across sourcing categories in areas complementary to the existing team
- Desire to grow and develop as a sourcing specialist and develop category expertise across Indirect portfolios (e.g., Services, IT and Facilities)

- Strong customer service orientation, keen to deliver on internal customer needs
- Independent worker with ability to track and manage own deadlines
- Ability to gather, interpret and analyze data to inform sourcing decisions

**Experience & Qualification**
- Proven working experience as purchasing/sourcing agent or officer
- 2+ years of purchasing experience / negotiations
- Degree in supply chain management, operations or business administration (nice to have)
- English language competency (verbal and written)
