Our specialized technical team is dedicated to delighting our customer needs through Intel's core culture values: Customer Obsessed, We Before Me, Fearless, and Truth and Transparency.We are seeking a motivated Capacity Planner Student to join our dynamic MPQ team at Intel Costa Rica Laboratory. This student position offers an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing capacity planning while contributing to Intel's operational excellence. The successful candidate will work closely with vertical teams and capacity planners across MPQ, enabling cross-collaboration environments and supporting critical business operations while pursuing their academic degree.This role provides exposure to real-world manufacturing challenges, capacity optimization strategies, and continuous improvement methodologies in a world-class semiconductor manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Capacity Analysis Support: Provide comprehensive capacity analysis support to vertical teams and capacity planners across MPQ organization
  • GAME PLAN Process Management: Gather inputs, conduct capacity analysis, and optimize processes for the GAME PLAN methodology
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and analyze critical indicators to identify improvement opportunities and drive capacity maximization initiatives
  • Cost Avoidance: Implement strategies to avoid unnecessary costs through efficient capacity planning and resource optimization
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work daily with operation teams and collaborate across different business units and technology development groups
  • Priority Management: Handle priority pass-downs and ensure alignment with organizational objectives
  • Data Analysis: Synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective meetings and maintain strong communication with stakeholders across all organizational levels
  • Process Optimization: Apply LEAN principles, operational excellence, and problem-solving techniques to improve processes
