Team Overview and Job responsibilitiesThe Costa Rica logistics team, based in Heredia that is in charge of the shipping and warehousing operation is looking for a motivated and talented Logistics Specialist who will be responsible for all aspects of the dispatch cycle. The Logistics Specialist will work closely with the logistics supervisor and other cross-functional departments.Main responsibilities

Monitor the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and protection of equipment and make recommendations for improvements.
Prioritize and assign tasks to ensure that the team’s resources are used effectively, and that work schedules and targets are met.
Generate the daily shipment plan looking to achieve the monthly volume and on time delivery goals.
Coordinate with the Warehouse preparation of sales orders and execute billing processes
Analysis, follow-up and resolution of the customer claims.

Who are we looking for?EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree Industrial Engineering or Business Administration
At least 2+ years in Logistics Processes
Transportation planning processes preferred
Billing experience preferred
Dispatch Claims Administration preferred
SAP experience preferred
Experience with advanced Excel functionality
Availability of rotating schedules
Languages: English (Prefer)

Ability to solve technical, managerial, or operational problems and evaluate options based on relevant information, resources, well-rounded experience, and knowledge
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and work prioritization skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn and develop
