And now, we are determined to realize our boldest opportunities to transform global healthcare for years to come!What you'll be doingWe prepare manual journals as needed with adequate supporting documentationWe are responsible for preparing reserves such as E&O, NRV etc., and prepare manufacturing variance analysis as neededWe complete account reconciliations in Blackline per established deadlinesWe respond to queries from local country finance in a timely mannerWe provide audit support as neededWe support regional and global reporting requirements such as monthly Balance Sheet & P&L Flux analysisWe support monthly/quarterly/annual close processesWe ensure adherence of processes to company's policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements and local rules and regulations; support strengthening of financial processes and controlsWe support local, regional, and global projects, as the need arises and maintain focus on continuous process improvement opportunitiesAdditional hours at critical times (e.g., month-end) may be required. Also, and on an exceptional basis, the role may require work on public holidaysWhat you'll bringBachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or part qualified ACCA/CIMA/CPAMinimum of 5 years of experience in inventory accounting in a shared service environmentBackground in Manufacturing accounting is a requirementConfirmed experience in a multinational environment and/or auditProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteGood knowledge of US GAAPExperience in ERP tools (JDE, SAP, Blackline, Alteryx, W-Desk) is a plusStrong analytical skillsExcellent communication skills, respectful, flexible and “can do” mind-setEqual Employment OpportunityBaxter is an equal opportunity employer.
