Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams.
Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers' business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers' businesses.
As trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships so as to insure customer satisfaction.
Maintain knowledge of leading edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge.
Actively contribute to the company's solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects.
Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organization and for external customers.
Accountable for consistent and significant chargeability levels (or expense relief for internal project teams) and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals.
Contribute to organization's profitability by generating and cultivating new business opportunities and by providing technical support for deal proposal development.
**Responsibilities**:
- Coordination of resources between Broker and SEP
- Approving IMS (Integration Mapping Specification), making sure we follow integration guidelines.
Review IMS
- Coordinate CMF (Common Message Format) changes if needed.
Change of CMF (Common Message Format)
- Current (legacy) EDI mapping logic in BES/Opentext/Jcaps.
(integration Middleware)
Investigating special logic in B2B
- Governance and approval of changes to overall EDI flow.
Specific logic to be secured with Lead Architect EDI
- Secure regression test for major changes to CMF and PI (SAP Integration middleware) mappings.
Request EDI messages for testing.
- Investigations/solution discussions with business and solution architects.
Support with EDI knowledge
- Coordinate EDI changes from SIT, UAT and Hypercare.
**Education and Experience Required**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related IT degree.
- At least 8+ years in the IT Industry, with at least 6 years working with EDI.
- Deep understanding of EDI transactions across different standards (not just EDIFACT but also X12, Tradacoms, etc).
- Has experience in the End-to-End implementation of an EDI system.
**Knowledge and Skills**
- Deep understanding of EDI transactions across different standards (not just EDIFACT but also X12, Tradacoms, etc)
- Deep understanding of the business layer behind the standard
- Knowledge of ITIL and the Agile framework is a huge plus.
- A cross-divisional understanding of IT and relevant various business unit
- Working knowledge of EDI translation software packages
- Understanding of EDI transaction sets
- General knowledge of networking protocols and web architecture
- Solid understanding of EDI standards and practices - EDIFACT, XML
- Strong communication and organizational talent
- An independent, structured and responsible way of working
- Expertise in data mapping and organization
- Basic understanding of relational database structures - SQL, Oracle databases
- Rest API, UNIX shell scripting, Linux, PERL
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, EDI comprehension, and Internet-based product navigation
