Job Category: Data Science and Business IntelligenceJob Description:The Data Process Administrator is responsible for the execution and monitoring of data pipelines and product delivery processes, as well as participating in problem solving and improvements of technical solutions for data processing.This position must have the ability to work with data in different formats, using SQL and common data tools used in the company. Must be able to analyze data and find inconsistencies, propose process improvements and work on projects to develop these improvements.Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:● Responsible for managing technical tools and data processes in production environments, with the goal of delivering data products on time and meeting quality standards● Get involved with the data team in solving problems, demonstrating ability to review data using SQL language.● Review application logs and be willing to investigate errors if necessary to help find the root cause of problems.● Ensure quality control of all products built by the team.● Report inconsistencies and repetitive problems, propose solutions and be willing to work on them.Qualifications:PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:● Professional experience working with data products, developing solutions or operating and providing support.● At least 1 year experience working with databases (or equivalent advanced computer science studies).● Intermediate practical knowledge in SQL language.● Experience working with files and data manipulation (use of text editors, spreadsheets).● Experience working with data pipelines or ETL tools is desired.● Basic knowledge of programming, using Python or any other programming language is desired.● Willingness and ability to learn how to use new technological tools developed or implemented by the data engineering team.● Good written and oral communication skills (English and Spanish).● Have studies in an area related to computer science is desired.PHYSICAL DEMANDSRequires extensive sitting with periodic standing and walking. No exposure to hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions anticipated. Typically requires routine use of personal computer and general office equipment.
