Job Summary This position is responsible for building, testing, implementing and maintaining network security technologies. This includes supporting IT projects through both pre-production and implementation phases by collaborating with internal technology risk teams, network services, infrastructure management, and external business groups to understand requirements to implement solutions accordingly; testing and validating upgrades and enhancements prior to production implementation; providing incident support to help resolve and remediate production issues; and implementing new security controls as appropriate to mitigate threat risks. This position is also responsible for maintaining a broad understanding of security infrastructure operations and to provide technical subject matter expertise to support the ongoing assessment and mitigation of information security risks.
Essential Responsibilities
 Primary job duties this position is responsible for achieving are listed in order of importance."
 Implementation, coordination, and support of enterprise firewall changes (e.g., code/OS upgrades, hardware refresh) to ensure successful deployment and operational service
 Provide change management support for network security infrastructure (e.g., Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls)
 Provide incident management and on-call support for network security infrastructure (e.g., Palo Alto and Cisco firewalls, other network security related events)
 Provide pro-active monitoring of network security infrastructure
 Respond to infrastructure alerts, determine impact, triage, resolve and/or escalate high priority issues or risks, as appropriate
 Create, update, and close incident and change-related tickets within ServiceNow ensuring all procedures, policies, and timelines are followed
 Document and provide input on root-cause analysis and prevention plans
 Collaborates with IT teams and key business partners to troubleshoot complex network security systems and provides solutions, as appropriate.
 Collaborates with team members to develop project support plans, schedules, and assignments to accomplish priorities and deadlines
 Proficiency with utilizing Splunk for troubleshooting and reportingRequisitosJob Qualifications
 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and minimum six (6) years experience in an IT operations environment. In lieu of Bachelor's degree, equivalent experience of 3 years will be considered, in addition to the listed minimum years of experience (9 years total).

 Minimum two (2) years experience in the planning, design, and implementation of network security solutions.
 Minimum two (2) years experience in the configuration, implementation, troubleshooting, and operation of network security technologies.
Basic Qualifications
 5 years minimum experience managing and supporting the following technologies: Palo Alto firewalls, Palo Alto Panorama, Cisco firewalls
 3 years minimum experience managing and supporting the following technologies: Splunk, Cisco Routing/Switching
Additional Requirements
 Ability to read, write, and communicate in English proficiently
 Experience with physical hardware (firewalls, routers, switches), as opposed to only virtual appliances
