Platform Management Optimization
Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure for critical marketing and content platforms Sitecore, Adobe Experience Cloud, Optimizely, Veeva, etc. in cloud environments AWS, Azure, GCP.
Proactively monitor platform health, performance, and security, identifying and resolving issues before they impact operations.
Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans for all supported platforms.
Ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency of platform infrastructure and services.
Automation CICD
Develop and maintain robust CICD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment of applications and configurations across various environments.
Utilize Infrastructure as Code IaC tools e.g., Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation to provision and manage infrastructure in an automated and repeatable manner.
Automate routine operational tasks, system health checks, and security remediations.
Collaboration Support
Work closely with development, QA, and project management teams to ensure smooth software releases and system integrations.
Provide expert guidance and support to development teams on best practices for platform development, deployment, and optimization.
Troubleshoot complex production issues related to platform infrastructure, application performance, and integrations.
Participate in oncall rotations for critical incident response as needed.
Security Compliance
Implement and enforce security best practices across all platforms and infrastructure DevSecOps.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Documentation Knowledge Sharing
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for platform architecture, configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role, with a strong focus on platform engineering.
Deep handson experience with at least two of the following platforms
Sitecore various versions, XPXM, JSS
Adobe Experience Cloud AEM, Target, Analytics, Campaign, Marketo Engage
Optimizely Content Cloud, Experimentation, Commerce
Veeva CRMContentVault especially regarding integration and deployment of related solutions
Expertise in at least one major cloud platform AWS, Azure, or GCP
Infrastructure provisioning e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Azure VMs, Azure App Services, Google Compute Engine
Networking VPCs, subnets, security groups, load balancers
Monitoring and logging e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack
Strong proficiency in scripting languages e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash.
Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code IaC tools e.g., Terraform, Ansible.
Proven experience with CICD tools and methodologies e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CICD, GitHub Actions.
Solid understanding of containerization Docker and orchestration Kubernetes principles and tools.
Experience with version control systems Git, GitHub, Azure Repos.
Familiarity with database administration SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc..
Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
Excellent problemsolving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced agency environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant cloud certifications AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, etc..
Experience with other marketing technology platforms or CRM systems.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and API management.
Experience with performance testing and tuning of web applications.
