This role is very important for Equifax since it is for the NPI team, which is in charge of design, management, reporting, and making decisions about the importance of New product innovations.
Meraki, which is the popular name for our development associated with NPI, consists of a Global Web Application, plus integrations with different sources as well as Visualizations in Tableau and Data Studio.
**What you'll do**:
- Develop and maintain Web Applications
- Maintain current jobs, processes, databases, and systems
- Provide support or development in integration processes by implementing ETL tools ( Python / Composer )
- Conduct research and make recommendations on BI products, services, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
- Engage in "root cause" analysis to assess changes in metrics and underlying causes and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Assess the impact of various initiatives and measure results.
Provide recommendations for improvement as necessary.
- Analyze current manual processes to identify and automate as many processes as possible
**What experience you need**:
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering OR equivalent.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in any Object-Oriented coding language such as C#,.
Net /.
Net Core, **(preferably Python) **.
- 2+ years of experience in SQL, MySQL, and **Postgres (preferable **)
- 2+ years of experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and **JavaScript frameworks **( **Django, **Node, React)
- 1+ Experience in Visualizations tools **(preferably Tableau)**:
- English proficiency B2 or above (Belt)
**What could set you apart?

- Experience working with Cloud environments ( AWS or **GCP preferable **)
- Ability to communicate technical details clearly across organizational boundaries.
- Passion for building highly scalable, highly reliable services
- Data Science and Machine Learning knowledge, Jupyter Notebook is a plus.
- Work with collaborative tools including Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Google Docs, etc.
- Experience in ETL Tools ( Data integration tools )
- Experience consuming/developing REST API services
