A video chief engineer or stream technician is responsible for monitoring, controlling and assist the video team technical aspects.
Responds to and diagnoses problems in the daily production - Includes problem recognition, research and resolution steps while being the person in charge of the studio and all broadcasts.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with leads by providing recommendations and support for new products.
- Taking responsibility for the daily production.
- Stay up to date with new software and trends that could be implemented to improve our procedures and products.
- Decision Making and ownership.
- Full Accountability of established procedures.
- Q&A.
- Provide training to new video team members to teach them about the major tasks.
- Be the main point of contact for all department issues regarding technical procedures and/or troubleshooting in the studio.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in digital animation or audiovisuals related field.
- A least 4 years of experience in multimedia and audiovisuals production.
- Basic Sports knowledge is a plus
- Basic Sports Betting knowledge is a plus
- Knowledge of MS Office + Google Drive & Microsoft Package.
- Knowledge of Youtube.
- Networks and telecommunications skills.
- LIVE streaming experience, knowledge of live streaming software.
- Tech support experience.
- Audiovisuals management applied to technical support and equipment maintenance.
- Problem solving skills & detail oriented
- Weekend availability.
- Flexible schedule.
- High English level (spoken & written).
- Accountability and reliability.
