The IT Manufacturing Technician will provide onsite support and escalation for enterprise solutions across the region in the Manufacturing and RD area in alignment with IT Business Partners, and support business strategy and objectives in collaboration with Global IT.
Provide Level 2 support related to Manufacturing and RD issues, for desktop, operating systems, antivirus and application software, development changes as required and ensure technical issues are resolved and solutions are properly documented.
Have a good understanding of Machine level integration as it applies to Shop Floor systems integration with the business layer. Provide guidance to business and IT teams and contribute to development of standards to be adopted by business and IT.
Excellence in customer service skills and the capability to build strong collaborative relationships.
QualificationCertification in Industry 4 and IT Technologies.
ITIL Foundations certification required.
At least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area required.
Experience with IT systems in a manufacturing and RD environment.
Strong communication and relationship skills.
Strong critical thinking problem solving skills.
Experience with IT systems in a manufacturing and RD environment.
