The Cloud & AI Solution Engineering team is hiring experienced Cloud & AI Apps Solution Engineers who lead AI Apps and Agents, the integration with Apps and Data for AI applications who demand more than intelligence, Software Developer Experience and Productivity with Agentic DevOps thus enabling streamlined AI powered development and management of app end to end.Are you passionate about helping customers transform their businesses? This opportunity will allow you to be on the frontier of the Apps customer business transformation in Caribbean region that accelerate your career growth, develop deep business acumen on practical cases of Apps Modernization and Apps cycle end to end to enable and accelerate business customer outcomes, under an environment of flexible work opportunity and state whether someone can work from home partially or fully.Your role as a Cloud & AI Apps Solution Engineer is to win the technical decision of customers to purchase and use Azure technology. The SE is expected to be able to both own and win customers’ technical decisions, as well as find new opportunities through their contacts and engagements for sales specialists to pursue. As an SE, you work within a virtual team of technical, partner and consulting resources to help educate your customers at a technical level, demonstrate and prove our Cloud & AI Apps solutions, and win the technical decision, allowing the team to achieve/exceed quarterly sales targets in your accounts. Own Cloud & AI Apps Modernization technical discussions with customers leveraging processes and tools, demos, and programs using consultative sales methodology and technical expertise to influence the customer vision; establish rules of engagement (e.g., role boundaries, handoff strategies) for extended teams.
Build Cloud & AI Apps Modernization technical strategy: map the agreed customer vision into a strategy, resolve concerns, preventing and removing technical blockers, and validating a strong business case for investment and translating technology complexity into business impact. Work with the customer, account team, and partners to orchestrate a roadmap for implementation guiding the customer to choose the best Microsoft platform and win the Apps Modernization end-to-end cycle Application services, and Databases.
Lead and design the solution using your Cloud Apps technical knowledge, architectural approach, consultancy skills and our methodology to win a customer’s technical decision and meet the customer’s needs; drive POCs/Pilots to create momentum for MVPs, infusing key Apps modernization and AI technologies where appropriate and technically proficient to do POC with hands-on-skills.
Lead AI Apps and Agents: Microsoft empowers you to rapidly prototype and scale AI solutions with thousands of models, advanced orchestrators, and responsible AI tooling through Azure AI Foundry. Seamless integration with GitHub, Copilot for low-code/no-code scenarios, and compatibility across the Microsoft and 3rd party app ecosystem ensures faster development, testing, and deployment of AI agents and applications.
Drive the Integration with Apps and Data: AI applications demand more than intelligence—they require a unified approach to apps and data. Azure offers integrated support for structured and unstructured data, API Management, Governance and robust workflow tools. Leveraging MCP and A2A enables seamless connectivity across tools, services, and applications, providing a scalable, secure architecture for building and integrating AI solutions.
Security and privacy are embedded at every level of the AI platform, enabling secure, scalable Agentic AI applications. Enterprise-grade identity controls, comprehensive content safety, and real-time threat detection ensure trusted innovation across data layers, agent communications, and application boundaries.
Software Developer Experience and Productivity with Agentic DevOps: GitHub Copilot supports the full software lifecycle, enabling developers to stay in the flow and focus on high impact work. GitHub Enterprise enables organizations to leverage full range of Agentic DevOps innovations by speeding up delivery, improving code quality and enhancing security. Deeper Azure integrations like GitHub Copilot for Azure and Azure AI Foundry for VS Code extension provides capabilities such as prompt driven creation and deployment with infrastructure as code thus enabling streamlined AI powered development and management of app end to end.
Be the Trusted advisor and use proactive effort to find and understand customers’ pain points and work with partners to design and offer solutions (with business case) to technical leaders by being an Azure platform evangelist for technical decisions Software developer cycle and Apps Modernization.
Be the Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices with Global Black Belt and Engineering, to remove key blockers and drive product improvements.

Qualifications:Required Qualifications (RQs)

7+ years Apps Modernization and Software Development Cycle to the Cloud technical pre-sales or Apps Modernization and Software Development to the Cloud technical consulting experience

OR bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years Software Development Apps to the Cloud and to technical pre-sales or Apps Modernization technical consulting experience
OR master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years technical Apps Modernization and software development to the Cloud pre-sales or technical consulting experience
OR equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

8+ years technical Apps Modernization and software developments to the Cloud pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery, or related experience

Partners: Experience leveraging partner solutions to solve customer needs and scale opportunities.
Proof of Concepts: Experience creating Apps Modernization and Software Development in the Cloud as App with Agents (PoC)/Pilots for customers that lead to production deployments.
OR equivalent experience
6+ years’ experience with Apps Modernization and Software Development end to end cycle the cloud
Spanish and English fluency
Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines (e.g., Apps Modernization, Cloud Native, Software Development Github Copilot, Apps Modernization Architect exams, Development Cloud Platform Technologies).
