Eurofins offers a portfolio of over 200,000 analytical methods to evaluate the safety, identity, composition, authenticity, origin, traceability and purity of biological substances and products, as well as providing innovative clinical diagnostic testing services, as one of the leading global emerging players in specialized clinical diagnostics testing.QualificationsSUMMARY OF ROLE AND OBJECTIVES:As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for smooth operation of a Eurofins IT infrastructure and to work with developers to deploy and manage code changes, and with operations staff to ensure that systems are up and running smoothly. Also supporting and administrating our in-house Linux infrastructure and providing premium support for our next generation cloud infrastructure. You must be able to work on containerization in multi-cloud platforms and adapt to DevOps tools and technologies with a focus of automation using CI/CD Concepts. You must be able to work in and adapt to a fluid, fast-paced environment. You must have strong communication, collaboration, and technical skills.ROLE & OBJECTIVES:Specific Assignments:

Design and implement cloud-based solutions on Azure;
Manage and optimize multiple Kubernetes clusters (AKS, EKS, Rancher);
Implement and maintain the Terraform- based release solution;
Collaborate, consult, train and support different IT teams to implement the new standards;
Partially to maintain the life cycle of Linux servers on-premises using Foreman;
Provide support for containerizing infrastructure in Cloud with latest DevOps tools and Technologies;
Willing to learn new tools and technologies and adapt to the changes.

Other responsibilities:

Able to provide technical recommendations and solve technical problems;
Experience in implementing best security and performance standards in provisioning the infrastructure.
Contact regional IT team, collect requirements and implement standard operating procedures.
Deploy an application landing zone in your Azure environment using the Terraform framework.
ITIL and DevOps approach to solving technical problems. Troubleshoot problems that arise.
Work with application teams to accommodate cloud requirements.
Serving as an escalation point for all IT teams to do support and troubleshooting,
Provide quality documentation, enabling smooth day-to-day operations.
Collaborate closely with the rest of the IT infrastructure and operations, architecture, application and security teams.
Identify opportunities to innovate, automate, and simplify delivery by contributing Terraform code.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:MUST have at least 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps in an enterprise level organization to be considered.Mandatory technology skills:

Solid hands-on experience on Terraform and Kubernetes (Minimum 2 years);
Good hand-on experience on Azure administration;
Experience on Rancher, AKS, EKS, Puppet or Ansible and good understanding on DevOps and Tools;
Good knowledge on Linux administration;
Good hand-on experience on Python, Shell scripting (DSC preferred)
Good understanding of networking concepts and topologies
Good knowledge on ITIL v3 Incident/Problem and Change management process.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Must be Fluent in English.

Preferred

Automation and implementation of e.g. Terraform, DSC, Helm, Azure DevOps;
GitOps Practitioner;
Experience on working RedHat Satellite or Foreman is an advantage;
Monitoring and alerting systems. e.g. DataDog, Icinga, Nagios;
Experience on all Azure cloud services.

Personal Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
Working experience in an enterprise grade company with IT teams spread over the globe;
Should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills;
Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment;
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.

Certifications:

Certified on Kubernetes Administration (CKA) - Preferred
Good to have Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
