- Data Entry and Maintenance:
- Vendor Master Data Clerks are responsible for accurately entering and maintaining vendor-related information in databases, across 4 different ERPs.
- Input data such as vendor names, contact details, payment terms, tax IDs, bank information and other relevant information.
- Vendor Setup and Updates:
- Create new vendor records by gathering necessary details from vendor setup forms.
- Regularly reviewing and updating existing vendor data to ensure accuracy is also part of their role.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Vendor Master Data Clerks communicate with vendors to verify information, resolve discrepancies, and obtain missing data, as well collaborate with other departments (such as procurement and accounts payable) to ensure smooth vendor-related processes.
- Data Integrity and Compliance:
- Ensuring data integrity by performing audits on vendor records to identify errors or inconsistencies.
- Complying with company policies and legal requirements related to vendor data management. Proficiency in data entry, attention to detail, and familiarity with database software are essential.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain organized records of vendor data, including contracts, agreements, and correspondence.
- Generating reports on vendor performance, payment history, and other relevant metrics.
- Experience with accounting systems such as SAP or Oracle or other ERPs, a plus.
- Proven and demonstrable relevant job experience, a plus.
- B2 English level, a plus.
