Employment Type: Full-timePurpose of the RoleThe Manifest Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate control of cargo manifests within the TICA (Customs Information and Control Technology) system. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all incoming and outgoing cargo information is accurately captured and processed in compliance with local customs regulations. The analyst will also serve as a liaison between internal teams, customers, and customs authorities.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary point of contact for customers regarding cargo manifest-related matters.Ensure smooth and timely execution of all manifest processes (both full and empty container flows).Perform accurate data entry of vessel manifests, Bills of Lading, and transport units for import and export operations using TICA.Validate documentation prior to entry to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all manifests according to internal and legal standards.Generate and manage control reports for active, closed, and pending manifests.Coordinate closely with internal operations and customer service teams to align on data and deadlines.Communicate proactively with customers regarding documentation and submission statuses.Handle customs-related processes such as amendments, inclusions, and other updates.Own customer satisfaction—managing communication via phone, email, and digital platforms.Look for continuous improvement opportunities to streamline the manifest process and enhance customer experience.Collaborate with team members to achieve performance goals and share best practices.Who We’re Looking ForHigh School diploma or degree in Customs Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.At least 2 years of experience working with TICA or in customs control roles.Knowledge of the Multicargo system.Familiarity with Costa Rican customs regulations is a strong plus.Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.Able to work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy.Solid communication and interpersonal skills.Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities.Tech-savvy and comfortable with digital systems and reporting tools.A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.Fluent in English (written and spoken).#LI-EM1#LI-HybridMaersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
