Manufacturing Engineer (Intern)

• Provide support on the manufacturing lines.
• Support the investigation of NCMRs.
• Compile industrial engineering data to generate standard work.
• Utilize statistical analysis tools to assess product and process performance.
• Generate changes on DHRs, and DMRs based on the release of new part numbers.
• Support Shop Floor Control process.
• Execute IQs.
• Train process/molding technicians when needed.
• Participate in the design, development and testing of new and existing products and equipment.
• Evaluates new equipment, processes, and participates in the transfer of new products.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and protocols.
• Leads or assists in process improvement projects and provides technical inputs.
• Generate, edit, and maintain Quality documentation, including but not limited to, departmental documents, procedures, work instructions, templates, and training materials including change orders.
• Provide technical support to other team members in statistical analysis techniques, experimental design, data analysis, sampling techniques, among others.
• Participates and provides training on department procedures and policies.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned.

• Current university student majoring in Industrial, Chemical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 80% of the career approved (Bachelor´s or Licentiate degree).
• B1 English Level or above.

• Ability in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Advanced preferred
• Ability to effectively present information to management and public groups.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis tools, Minitab or any equivalent statistical tool is preferred.
