As an Inland Delivery Analyst, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing inland transportation operations in Costa Rica. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, close interaction with trucking vendors, customers, and internal teams, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.You will play a key role in ensuring reliable deliveries, effective vendor management, and seamless communication across stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily inland transport operations with local trucking vendors (e.g., HH Grant, Jumbo, Romo, El Triunfo, etc.).Receive, validate, and execute transportation instructions from customers and internal teams.Ensure clear communication with trucking vendors regarding routes, timelines, and contingencies (e.g., customs Form 32, weather disruptions).Monitor shipments, proactively resolve delays and provide solutions to meet customer expectations.Prepare and track operational KPIs and vendor performance reports.Act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring transparency, timely updates, and issue resolution.Collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous improvement in inland transport processes.Who we are looking forProven experience in inland transportation in Costa Rica, preferably with a shipping line, freight forwarder, or logistics provider.Strong knowledge of the local trucking market, customs processes, and operational challenges.Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, reporting); Power BI knowledge is a plus.Intermediate to advanced English (B1–B2), able to communicate in a global corporate environment.Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related fields (preferred, not mandatory).Highly organized, proactive, and able to handle pressure in a dynamic operational setting.Strong stakeholder management, customer orientation, and problem-solving mindset.We OfferA collaborative and diverse team environment with opportunities for personal and professional development.Competitive compensation and benefits according to Maersk Costa Rica policies.A culture that embraces flexibility, inclusion, and continuous improvement.Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
