**Supplier Enablement**
- Lead the purchasing team in validating purchasing requirements to qualify suppliers
- Onboard suppliers and execute supplier master file management
- Oversee catalog enablement within procurement systems
- Ensure contracts are effectively enabled for purchasing and invoicing
**Transactional Procurement**
- Monitor the generation of procurement reports to examine transactions for discrepancies, and noncompliance issues to support monthly reporting
- Monitor and manage procurement transactions in coordination with all buyers
- Monitor for the correct and compliant use of procurement systems working with the Buyer Team Leaders to develop, monitor, and improve the functions reporting and operating capabilities
**Purchasing Transactions Management**
- Monitor and maintain effective requisition and purchase order processing
- Review and approve spot buy execution within the spot buy team
**Team Development & Supervision**
- Create an effective work environment by developing a common vision, communicating clear objectives, fostering teamwork, recognizing performance, and providing coaching
- Ensure funding & approvals for employee training based on program requirements and continuous people development
- Identify opportunities to involve others in new and challenging work assignments and/or rotations that advance the skills and capabilities of individuals and the organization
- Manage resources and people processes (e.g., Performance Management, Career Development, Training, Staffing, etc.) to ensure the day-to-day administration of processes
- Conduct performance evaluations in a consistent, fair, and objective manner to encourage continuous performance improvement
- Make salary and bonus recommendations based on employee feedback & performance
- Support HR with talent selection, retention, and development to maintain appropriate staffing for Emerson procurement
