The People Services & Operations team (including Payroll) plays a critical role in delivering consistent, high-quality HR services across a range of advisory and administrative functions. This role focuses on supporting and executing established HR solutions, with key responsibilities including:Administration of employment and personnel recordsStatistical and compliance reportingDeployment of rewards and recognition programsAccurate and timely payroll processingEnsuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policiesProviding responsive and effective employee service supportDriving automation and continuous improvement of HR workflowsRole OverviewThis position is part of the Professional Stream, designed for individual contributors who apply specialized knowledge and expertise to deliver results. While not primarily a people management role, it may involve:Coaching or mentoring junior team membersInformal supervision or oversight of lower-level professionalsManaging specific processes or programsKey ResponsibilitiesWork independently within defined guidelines to complete tasks in Payroll and Time & AttendanceApply practical knowledge of systems, procedures, and compliance requirementsEvaluate and select solutions from known alternatives within the area of expertiseCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service deliveryContribute to process improvements and automation initiativesQualifications & Experience3 year of experience in payroll, timekeeping, or a related HR operations roleStrong understanding of payroll systems, labor regulations, and compliance standardsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesProficiency in Workday - HRIS and time tracking systemsAnalytical mindset with attention to detailCareer ProgressionProgression in this role is based on deepening professional expertise, expanding project management capabilities, and increasing influence within the organization.
