Job Description:Logistics Specialist (Costa Rica GBS)Huntsman Corporation’s Regional Supply Chain team is searching for a Logistics Specialist in our hub in San Jose, Costa Rica. Reporting to the Senior Logistics Engineer, you will support the day-to-day operations of the supply chain and logistics team. This hands-on role offers exposure to transportation coordination, problem-resolution, cost optimization, and vendor management.The focus of the team will be to support our Advanced Materials divisions for Americas region.We are looking for someone with excellent analytical skills with an eye for process improvement, with an interest in logistics research, development and new technologies.In summary, as the Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Handle logistics claims and complaints by investigating root causes, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.
Maintain and update trackers and reports related to logistics operations to support process improvement and data-driven decision-making.
Manage transportation and warehousing invoices by reviewing, validating, and coordinating with providers and internal teams.
Support daily communication and coordination with the Transportation Management System (TMS) provider.
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce transportation costs.
Monitor transportation performance, including on-time delivery, cost per shipment, and carrier compliance.
Manage requests for route and zone creations for North America.
Ensure all activities are aligned with EHS requirements.
Set up new external users & maintain vendors.

Required QualificationsMinimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related.
1-3 years of professional experience in the field of logistics and/or supply chain.
Fluent in English and Spanish – written and spoken proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma proven knowledge.
SAP/ERP software process knowledge.
High proficiency in major IT tools (Power Bi, Tableau).
Knowledge or experience in SOP and Work Instructions Management.
Knowledge of Portuguese to support communication with regional partners.

Skills & Knowledge

Strong analytical skills, with a data orientated mindset
Solutions oriented with the ability to apply alternatives for customers and suppliers.
